Dear all,

As we announced a few weeks ago, the final conference of the LIFE in Quarries project, led by FEDIEX, the Walloon Region, the European Commission, the Biodiversity and Landscape unit of Gembloux Agro Bio-Tech (ULiège), Natagora and the Plaines de l’Escaut Natural Park, will take place on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 October 2021! 🥂

During 2 busy days, come and discover all the rare and/or endangered animal and plant species that find refuge in the 26 active Walloon quarries that are members of the project, and discover the countless actions that have been put in place for them during 6 years, so that extractive activity and biodiversity can coexist even better! 🐸🌿🐝

Hereunder, the program of the first day of the final conference of the LIFE in Quarries project :

As stated in the registration form, the second day will consist of a visit to one of the active quarries involved in the project in order to get a better idea of the reality in the field and of the different biodiversity actions that will have been introduced – as well as their results – previously during the conference.

If an impediment should force you to cancel your participation or if you wish to modify your registration (face-to-face to remote and vice versa) in the most optimal way.
Nature, as well as the entire LIFE in Quarries project team, thank you for your interest!
